High school Studio Art students have been finishing their portrait drawing using a grid in the style of Chuck Close. They chose celebrity portraits, drew that at a 1:1 ratio, then enlarged them to 2:1 ratio. They are using drawing pencils to work on value and shading, as well as accurate proportions.
They are exploring street art and creating public works.
