Runway Fashion Show featuring unusual materials

Students watched a few clips from Project Runway, completed a fashion challenge using unusual materials to make a hat. They divided into groups and given a continent (coordinating with our theme of Around the World in 180 Days this year) to research. They completed google slide shows complete with images and text about fashion from that continent. Students completed an outfit using unconventional materials in small groups that related to the fashion they researched. Finally, yesterday was Runway day, complete with a red carpet and sassy modeling to music.
